Position Summary
UB Associates, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Biller to join our revenue cycle team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, including charge entry, payment posting, claim follow-up, and patient account support.
The Medical Biller plays an important part in supporting both patients and organizational success through strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Charge Entry
  • Accurately enter physician charges, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers into the billing system
  • Verify and maintain patient demographic and insurance information
  • Ensure all billing data is complete, accurate, and submitted on time

Claims Follow-Up & Payment Posting
  • Monitor, follow up, and resolve denied or underpaid claims
  • Post patient and insurance payments in alignment with EOBs
  • Manage refunds and payment adjustments when necessary

Patient Support & Collaboration
  • Respond professionally to patient inquiries regarding balances and statements
  • Partner with front desk staff to resolve account concerns and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Assist with coverage, special projects, and related administrative tasks as directed

Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of billing processes, coding, and revenue cycle principles
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, staff, and management
