Summary:

The Knowledge Management Development Engineer will improve organizational awareness, decision-making, and information sharing across IE&E mission areas.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design, implement, and maintain KM processes, tools, and governance structures that enable the collection, organization, dissemination, and accessibility of information across functional areas, including installations, energy, and environmental programs.
  • Develop dashboards visualization tools, and shared information environments that provide leadership with timely, relevant, and actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Support integration of disparate information sources into centralized or federated knowledge repositories and ensure alignment with Army 365 (A365) and enterprise IT environments.
  • The Contractor shall also support priority mission areas, including advanced energy and nuclear initiatives, by organizing and presenting technical, programmatic, and decision-support information in a manner that enables senior leader awareness and informed execution.
  • All KM activities shall align with Government-directed strategies, policies, and content management frameworks.
  • The Contractor shall support Records Management (RM) in accordance with DoD Instruction 5015.02 and applicable Army policies, ensuring proper creation, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and disposition of official records across IE&E mission areas.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining records management processes, repositories, and controls to ensure compliance, auditability, and accessibility of records.
  • Provide guidance and training to personnel on records management requirements, including distinguishing official records from non-record materials.
  • Support periodic reviews, assessments, and updates to RM practices to ensure continued compliance with evolving DoD and Army requirements.
  • This support shall include records associated with priority energy and infrastructure initiatives, including advanced and nuclear energy programs, ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and compliance with applicable regulatory and security requirements.
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with DoD/Army organizational structures and decision-making processes.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear outputs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Knowledge Management, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in knowledge management, information management, or data integration.
  • Demonstrated experience with Army 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power BI).
  • Experience developing dashboards, data visualizations, and executive-level products
  • At minimum, a SECRET clearance
