WCAC serves 45 towns in Central and South-Central Massachusetts with offices located in Worcester, Southbridge, Webster, and East Brookfield. We are a team of 135 employees and an annual budget of approximately $30 million.   • High School Diploma or GED/HISET equivalent required; an associate degree preferred.
  • Ability to handle incoming and outgoing calls for the agency and to greet clients and visitors.
  • Strong communication skills and experience dealing with customers in person preferred.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new software, databases, and technology.
  • Embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; occasionally move about the office to access files, equipment, or other workspaces; and occasionally lift or carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate standard office technology including a computer, telephone, multifunction printer, and other devices and software systems required to perform job duties.
  • Ability to speak Spanish or other languages, a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • May be asked to work extended hours during the peak of the fuel season.
