Established practice in Fredericksburg is looking for a full-time motivated, goal-orientated Front Desk Associate to join our growing practice. The right candidate is hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated to patient care with a positive attitude.
Essential Duties:
Greet & promptly acknowledge patient’s presence in the waiting room.
Check-in/register new & existing patients in Dentrix.
Verify & update all demographic information.
Verify patient’s eligibility with insurance & completes insurance verification form.
Updates coverage table. Coverage table notes.
Present treatment plans & collects patient’s co-pay.
Maintains & keeps patients files & records up to date with appropriate paperwork on file.
Schedules and reschedules patients.
Answers phone in a timely manner.
Process cancellations & no-show appointments and notifies clinician of change in schedule.
Call other dental offices, pharmacy etc., as per doctor’s request.
Checks and responds to phone messages & e-mails.
Monitors the waiting area and patient bathroom.
Must have a great work ethic and punctual at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Compassionate and caring of patients
Dentrix computer experience a must.
Must have Dental Front Desk experience
Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and privacy policies at all times
Must be a team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Schedule is: Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
