Job description

Rula Health is seeking a compassionate and tech-forward Licensed Professional Counselor to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health care while leveraging innovative technology platforms supported by our parent company, Rula Technologies. You will work with a diverse population of adults and adolescents, delivering both in-person and telehealth services designed to improve access, engagement, and long-term outcomes.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Rula Health, you will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, formulate accurate diagnoses, and develop collaborative, goal-oriented treatment plans. Drawing on modalities such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, you will provide individual and group counseling, monitor progress, and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes and client feedback. You will maintain complete, timely, and compliant documentation in our user-friendly electronic health record (EHR), supported by integrated tools that streamline charting and outcome tracking.

You will play a central role in crisis assessment and intervention, including risk assessment, safety planning, and coordination of care with higher levels of service when necessary. Working closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, you will contribute to an integrated care model that treats the whole person. You will be expected to uphold HIPAA standards, ethical guidelines, and state and national licensure requirements while supporting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and client-centered care.

Rula Health's culture is dynamic, inclusive, and deeply collaborative. You will join a team that values creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning, and you will have opportunities to participate in case consultations, peer supervision, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Because Rula Technologies focuses on improving digital interfaces and user experiences, you will benefit from thoughtfully designed tools that enhance client engagement, telehealth effectiveness, and data-informed clinical decision-making. Your feedback on workflows and client interactions will actively shape ongoing product and service improvements.

This full-time position is ideal for a Licensed Professional Counselor who is excited to combine traditional clinical expertise with innovative healthcare technology. You should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment that may include both on-site and remote sessions, adaptable to changing client needs, and motivated to stay current with best practices in behavioral health. In return, Rula Health offers competitive compensation, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) benefits, as well as structured opportunities for professional development. By joining Rula Health, you will contribute to meaningful, impactful workโ€”helping individuals and families access the mental health support they need while shaping the future of technology-enabled behavioral healthcare.
