This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a flexible schedule. However, you will remain an integral part of our team, participating in weekly video conferences and collaborative case reviews to discuss client progress, share insights, and enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Conduct thorough client assessments and develop personalized therapy plans that align with each individual’s needs and goals.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based practices while documenting client progress in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Provide clients with coping strategies, tools, and resources that promote personal growth and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, holistic client care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions and clinical supervision.
• Contribute to the clinic’s outreach efforts, helping to foster community awareness about mental health services and resources.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at The Online Counselor, Ltd, you will work with a diverse array of clients from various backgrounds and demographics. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to understand the distinct cultural contexts, experiences, and challenges that each individual may present. Your ability to utilize culturally responsive therapy approaches will enhance client relationships and treatment effectiveness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted California licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, with a strong foundation in providing therapeutic support.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of culturally responsive therapy methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficiency in EHR systems to ensure accurate documentation and client tracking.

• Experience working in a virtual setting or online counseling environment.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Skills in developing and leading therapeutic workshops or group sessions.
