This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. Our virtual platform fosters a collaborative atmosphere where you can easily communicate with colleagues, share best practices, and seek support when needed. You will have access to state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems that streamline client management and enhance your ability to deliver personalized care. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a consistent schedule that promotes a healthy work environment.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and formulate individualized therapy plans tailored to achieve specific goals.
• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques, and monitor client progress using empirical data and client feedback.
• Provide clients with effective coping strategies and resources to enhance their resilience and improve overall mental well-being.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records in our EHR system while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

The primary clientele served by The Online Counselor, Ltd includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety disorders to substance use issues. We prioritize culturally aware methodologies in our practice, ensuring that we meet the diverse needs of our clients, respecting their backgrounds and personal experiences. Your role will be pivotal in creating customized treatment approaches that resonate with each individual, fostering trust and encouraging open dialogue.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is essential for this role.
• Valid California license as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC is mandatory.
• At least two years of active counseling experience, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based, culturally responsive therapy methods that are effective across a diverse client base.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to engage and support clients empathetically.

• Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems, enabling seamless documentation and client tracking.
• Experience in a community health setting and knowledge of regulatory requirements related to mental healthcare are advantageous.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and group therapy protocols is a plus.

The Online Counselor offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to financial remuneration, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
