Job description

Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is accepting resume for a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide services to our active-duty members and their dependents at Navy Hospital, Camp Pendleton, California. The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $82,000. - $87,360.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

Requirements: Graduate from a behavioral science program with specialized training in substance abuse and chemical dependency treatment CADCII 2 years within the preceding 4 years as a Substance Abuse Counselor in a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program which includes male and female clients. Maintain a national certification credential by the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors or National Board of Certification Counselors or International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse. Responsibilities: Perform a full range of Certified Addiction Counselor duties, in accordance with assignment and consistent with the scope of practice for profession, including but not limited to, medical care treatment and patient education in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner.

Obtain or provide relevant information that will facilitate treatment and assist in developing programs. Provide assessment of substance abuse and addiction. Identify and document medical consequences of alcohol and other substance use, including withdrawal and detoxification.

Facilitate the placement and management of patients in appropriate levels of care within the continuum of care model of the treatment of addictive disorders.
