Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, providing clients with a safe space to express their emotions and experiences.
• Guide clients in exploring their feelings and relationships, facilitating a journey toward greater self-understanding and insight.
• Act as an advocate for clients by helping them define personal goals and empowering them to take actionable steps toward achieving those objectives.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions and create tailored treatment plans utilizing solution-focused approaches based on clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client roster will consist exclusively of stable adults with low acuity needs. Clients are pre-screened to ensure they are appropriate for telehealth therapy, allowing you to focus on providing quality care without the stress of managing high-risk cases. We strive to strategically match you with clients who align with your specialties and preferences, ensuring a fulfilling therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology. Additionally, you must be fully licensed by the state board to practice independently without supervision. Acceptable licenses include:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Preferred Experience

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature, essential for fostering trusting relationships with clients. Proficiency with technology is a must, as you will be utilizing digital platforms for client interactions and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, depending on hours worked and client caseload.
• Weekly direct deposit for timely payment.
• Monthly healthcare stipend offered to full-time counselors.
