This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions in a comfortable and flexible setting that suits your lifestyle. While our services are provided through an outpatient office model, our innovative telehealth platform ensures seamless communication and continuity of care for all clients. We are equipped with modern tools and software for electronic medical records, enhancing the ease of documentation and client management.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client concerns and develop customized treatment plans targeting specific mental health challenges.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, to ensure that each client's therapeutic journey is unique and impactful.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated and proactive support throughout the treatment process.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through regular training sessions, workshops, and conferences, ensuring your skills remain current and aligned with industry best practices.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to program development initiatives aimed at enhancing client care and clinic operations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and emotionally supportive services to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes, ensuring their safety and immediate needs are addressed.
• Establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating cultural competence and an understanding of unique client needs.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health counseling, continually integrating new knowledge into practice to optimize outcomes.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your empathetic approach will enable clients to open up about their experiences while you guide them towards effective coping strategies and personal growth.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience working directly with clients in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans efficiently.
• Demonstrated skill in providing actionable counseling to diverse individuals, couples, and families.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, facilitating effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to cultural competence and delivering inclusive and affirmative care to clients.

The salary range for this full-time counselor role is competitive, offering between USD 78,000 and 115,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, full-time counselors will receive a monthly healthcare stipend and free access to our platform’s mental health services for personal use while remaining an active counselor.
