Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client concerns and develop customized treatment plans targeting specific mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, to ensure that each client's therapeutic journey is unique and impactful.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated and proactive support throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience working directly with clients in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans efficiently.
  • Demonstrated skill in providing actionable counseling to diverse individuals, couples, and families.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time counselor role is competitive, offering between USD 78,000 and 115,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
