BizScout is a dynamic marketplace revolutionizing how businesses connect, grow, and transition ownership. We are seeking an experienced Business Broker to join our team full-time as an in-house expert based in Austin, Texas.
As a Buyside Broker at BizScout, you will work directly with high-intent buyers to source their perfect deal. You will serve as a key resource to guide and facilitate the deal throughout the buy process, ensuring timely progression and successful closing.
Responsibilities:
  • Buyer Prospecting - Build your book of business through closing warm leads, cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods
  • Buyer Profile Generation - Uncover your buyers' abilities, interests, means and aspirations to create a professional profile that will compel sellers and brokers to engage
  • Deal Sourcing - Using BizScout's marketplace and off-market leads, as well as a plethora of other sources, identify high-fit prospective businesses for your buyers to consider
  • Initial Engagement - Drive initial outreach to sellers and brokers
  • Acquisition Journey Support - Using your M&A expertise, assist your buyers however needed throughout the acquisition process to close
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Natural consultative sales ability
  • Strong understanding of business financials and valuation principles
  • Proficiency with technology, including CRM systems, email, and Google Suite
  • Professional demeanor with a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Creative problem-solving and independent decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage and track multiple clients, prospects, and deals simultaneously
