Job description

Your Work Ethic Isn’t Average. Your Career Shouldn’t Be Either.
You’ve been the person others rely on - the one picking up on what other people need, handling challenges calmly, and helping people feel supported in the moment. You're driven. And somewhere in the back of your mind, you've wondered if there's a fulfilling career surrounded by a team of people that can actually keep up with you.

There is. And it's not what you'd expect.

The opportunity no one else is offering.
AdviceOne is hiring for a life-changing opportunity to join a fast-growing advisory firm with strong female leadership and a training program that sets you up for long-term success. Our clients are leaders across the aerospace industry, including literal rocket scientists, who expect precision and excellence. They rely on us as they make some of the most consequential financial decisions of their lives.

If you’re energized by helping people and want a fast track to becoming a trusted advisor, you’ve come to the right place.

Training & Development Program
Our two-year advisor development program is one of the most intentional, structured launches in the industry – built to grow exceptional people into elite advisors without the cold calls and the burnout.
Here's what your first two years look like:

  • Own real client relationships early with mentorship, structure, and a team behind you.
  • Lead financial planning conversations that shape how successful families approach retirement, security, and legacy.
  • We don't ease you in. By week two, you're sitting in real client meetings because we believe the fastest way to build your acumen and your confidence is to build them together, in the room, in real time.

Upon completing the program, you’ll step into a rewarding career, serving your own clients with the skills of an advisor with 10 years of experience! The exposure here is unlike anything else in the industry.

Who You Are
We've found that people who come from hospitality, retail, restaurants, or client-facing roles bring something most finance programs can't teach: the ability to provide exceptional customer service, think quickly, and deliver under pressure. Some of our most successful advisors have degrees in communications, English, and psychology. The common thread isn't background – it's exceptional people skills and the hunger to grow.
What you bring:

  • Off-the-charts people skills – you don't just understand people, you connect with them.
  • Strong verbal communication and a knack for relationship building that make you someone others instinctively trust.
  • Problem-solving skills that make complex issues easy to solve.
  • Resilient, driven, and growth-minded – you rise to challenges, learn quickly, and keep pushing forward.
  • Adaptable and collaborative – you possess a natural ability to thrive in team-oriented environments.
  • A bachelor's degree (or graduation within six months) - field of study doesn't matter.

Finance experience? Not required. The instincts to connect with people and the drive to do hard things? Non-negotiable. We are not analyzing markets or picking investments. We are helping our clients with real, life-changing decisions.

A Work Model That Respects Your Life
We built our schedule around our clients - and we are protecting yours at the same time.

  • Remote position - work from a dedicated home office with a secure, private connection (no public WiFi)
  • We are also seeking candidates open to relocating to Connecticut in the future
  • Optional on-site training in CT during year one to accelerate your development
  • Two evenings of work per week (Monday–Wednesday), so you're present when your clients actually are
  • 40-hour work week – we believe a criteria for success is balance
  • Four-day work week (Fridays off) after foundational training (within first 12 months), based on demonstrated readiness

We work hard. We go home.

Included With This Opportunity

  • Competitive base salary with significant opportunity for growth (think doubling by your 3-year mark)
  • Quarterly performance bonus potential
  • Earn your Series 65 and pursue your CFP® designation, paid for by us
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance
  • 401(k) with 3% employer contribution
  • 16 paid holidays - including the entire week between Christmas and New Year's
  • Generous PTO
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage
