  • Proven ability to drive strong case results and settlements against insurance carriers
  • Excellent written, oral, and courtroom advocacy skills
  • Strong negotiation instincts and strategic thinking when facing well-resourced insurance companies
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently while collaborating with a team
  • Experience with legal research tools and case management systems
  • Compassionate communication skills and ability to work with clients facing physical, emotional, and financial challenges

Standout Candidates May Also Have
  • Experience with catastrophic injury or permanent disability cases
  • First-chair trial experience before the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court
  • Knowledge of Social Security Disability, Medicare Set-Asides, and third-party liability claims
  • Understanding of medical terminology and ability to interpret complex medical records
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English)
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or community involvement

  • Structured onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development
  • Strong, team-oriented culture grounded in accountability and results
  • Dedicated to protecting the rights of Nebraska's working families
