Physical Address: Remote - Washington & Oregon Territory (Home Office Based)
This role requires a motivated individual who is comfortable with frequent travel, spending 75% or more of their time on the road.

You won't just manage an assigned territory-you'll help strengthen retail partnerships, educate customers, identify new business opportunities, and increase brand awareness throughout Washington and Oregon.

What You'll Do

As our Sales - Territory Manager (Washington + Oregon), you'll be responsible for growing sales, strengthening retail partnerships, delivering product education, and expanding BEDGEAR's presence throughout the territory while partnering closely with retail partners, sales leadership, and key business stakeholders.

  • Research, network, and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including:
    • Business Owners, Presidents, and C-suite Executives
    • Regional Operations Managers
    • Learning & Development Teams
    • Merchandising and Buying Groups
    • Store Management and Retail Sales Associates
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BEDGEAR products and competitive offerings.
  • Conduct sales and marketing presentations, training sessions, and seminars at retail partner locations and BEDGEAR corporate locations.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and training for Retail Sales Associates to improve product knowledge and sales performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between BEDGEAR and retail partners to identify new business opportunities, support contract negotiations, close sales, and assist in marketing strategy development.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue targets.
  • Monitor competitive activity and provide recommendations to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
  • Represent BEDGEAR at trade shows, marketing events, and industry functions as needed.
  • Conduct store visits to ensure merchandising compliance, including:
    • Documenting and photographing POP displays and visual merchandising setups
    • Identifying and recommending merchandising improvements
    • Evaluating competitive floor space and providing insights to sales leadership
    • Identifying areas for additional marketing collateral placement
    • Updating SharePoint with reports following store visits
  • Maintain call reports and provide performance feedback from store visits.
  • Work remotely with a self-maintained home office when not traveling.

Qualifications Required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify.
  • English literate and proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension).
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
  • Must have a home office with a personal laptop for business use.
  • Must be willing to participate in a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) cell phone program (stipend provided).
  • Must have a dependable personal vehicle with credible insurance coverage and a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a valid passport for travel outside of the territory as needed.
  • Must be able to travel at least 75% of the time.
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and major retail holidays.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales management, territory management, or retail account development is preferred.
  • Experience in bedding, home furnishings, or mattress categories is strongly preferred.
