Reporting to the Department Supervisor, you will serve as a main resource to team members and regularly engage with each individual, including providing process knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. What You Will Do:
  • As a production team leader, you will be on-site offering leadership skills and knowledge to team members - for activities such as manufacturing, processing, operating, packing or unloading
  • Instruct your teams on the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures should they be necessary at any point during the production process
  • Hold responsibility for meeting quality assurance standards as set by industry programs, such as ISO and Six Sigma
  • Be accountable for maintaining regular communication with interrelated departments, such as distribution and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently
  • Encourage team effort, positive attitude and support between teammates

What You Need to Succeed:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two (2) years' experience in the process area in which group leader position exists and working knowledge of area processes and job content
  • Prior experience leading teams
  • In addition, you ideally bring a high level of responsibility because the safety and productivity of your team reflects on your ability to lead, but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!
