Job description

Job Title: Packaging & Labeling Associate
Location: Branchburg, NJ 
Working Model: Fully Onsite
Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Pay rate: $20/hour


Job Summary:
As a Packaging & Labeling Associate, you will be responsible for labeling, inspecting, and packaging final container products utilizing manual and automated packaging systems. You will also assist in equipment setup, operation, and changeover, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, SOPs, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate filling, labeling, and packaging equipment as per Production Manufacturing Records, SOPs, ISO, and cGMP requirements
  • Perform aseptic gowning and participate in filling operations within an aseptic environment
  • Conduct in-process quality checks for fill accuracy, torque, vision system, and label alignment
  • Inspect products for defects and adherence to quality standards
  • Assist with data entry and creation of computer-generated labels; maintain accurate documentation (Production Manufacturing Records, SAP transactions)
  • Ensure all components (lot numbers, expiration dates, reconciling intermediates) meet compliance requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and decontaminate work surfaces according to defined procedures
  • Support completion and review of production documents for accuracy and completeness

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in packaging, labeling, or manufacturing is preferred
  • Ability to follow SOPs and operate machinery safely
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and quality assurance mindset
  • Willingness to work onsite and adhere to GMP/ISO/cGMP requirements
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
