Sales Executive - Packaging & Labeling Industry

Location: Southern California (willing to travel)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Salary: $110,000 – $125,000

We're looking for a passionate Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you'll build and nurture strong client relationships, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and drive meaningful business growth. As the primary point of contact, you'll develop smart account strategies that create success for our clients in the folding carton, labeling, and flexible packaging industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management Build and maintain trusting, long-term relationships with clients in the packaging industry.

  • Sales & Revenue Growth Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within key accounts, particularly in the beauty sector. Track performance and consistently grow revenue.

  • Account Strategy Create and execute strategic account plans to meet revenue goals. Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional results and expand business with existing clients.

  • Communication & Presentations Keep clients informed with regular updates and insightful presentations that clearly demonstrate our value.

  • Contract Negotiation Negotiate agreements and ensure we consistently deliver on (and exceed) our commitments.

  • Customer Satisfaction Proactively monitor satisfaction, quickly resolve concerns, and strengthen client loyalty.

  • Market Insight Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and opportunities, and share valuable recommendations with the team.

  • Reporting Maintain accurate records in Pipedrive and provide clear, regular reports on account performance.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is relentlessly focused on creating customer value

  • Brings a solid book of business in labeling, folding carton, or flexible packaging

  • Has 5+ years of successful sales experience in packaging (primary/secondary) or a related fast-paced environment

  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus)

  • Thrives as a player/coach who develops both people and processes

  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving, time management, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Is proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and standard business applications

  • Holds a BA/BS in business or a related field (preferred)
