The Role

We're looking for an experienced Level 2 IT Support Technician to join our Birmingham-area IT team. In this role, you'll handle escalated technical support, assist with IT infrastructure and project work, and serve as a key resource for our dealership staff across multiple locations. • Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers
  • Support network infrastructure including managed switches, wireless access points, VLANs, and firewalls
  • Administer user accounts and devices via Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and MDM platforms
  • Assist with IT projects such as equipment rollouts, system migrations, and new location setups
  • Support dealership management systems and automotive-specific software
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors on repairs, replacements, and escalated technical issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assets, configurations, and ticket resolutions
  • Uphold IT security policies and support compliance initiatives

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory / Azure AD
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching)
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience supporting users in a multi-site or high-volume environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal - you'll interact with non-technical staff regularly
  • Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance, grooming, and conduct
  • Ability to lift and install up to 50 lbs of equipment
  • Valid driver's license - required
  • Ability to travel between Birmingham-area locations
  • 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise networking platforms
  • Familiarity with MDM solutions (e.g., Mosyle, Intune)
  • Exposure to automotive DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, etc.)
  • Experience in a dealership, retail, or service-industry IT environment

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Real growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding IT department
