This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Human Factors Engineer II to join us onsite in a closed area program with the LCE team. Location: Tewksbury, MA What You Will Do As Human Factors Engineer II, your responsibilities will include: * Develop and implement Human Factors programs in compliance with MIL-STD-1472.
* Execute Human Factors tasks and analyses aligned with MIL-STD-1472 requirements.
* Lead Human Factors Engineering efforts across integrated product teams to identify, eliminate, or mitigate system hazards.
* Coordinate with customer Human Factors representatives to clarify system requirements and ensure proper allocation across software, hardware, and test teams.
* Conduct Human Factors planning, hazard analyses, and design evaluations.
* Present Human Factors considerations during technical reviews and throughout the engineering approval process.
* Interpret system requirements, customer specifications, and applicable military and commercial standards.
* Prepare internal and customer-facing reports documenting Human Factors analyses and program activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product architecture and design impacts.
* Interface with Systems Engineering, Software/Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Hardware Engineering to ensure consistent Human Factors integration. Qualifications You Must Have * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
* Experience with Human Factors Engineering, Human Systems Integration, or Safety Engineering
* Experience with hardware and/or software Qualifications We Prefer * Active/Existing DoD clearance
* Experience defense, aerospace, or safety-critical systems
* Experience with requirements development or systems engineering processes

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
