A Freight Forwarder is a company or individual that organizes the shipment of goods from one place to another on behalf of shippers. They act as intermediaries between the shipper and transportation services, arranging the best route and mode of transport, handling documentation, customs clearance, and sometimes warehousing. Freight Forwarders help ensure that cargo is transported efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with international regulations. They play a crucial role in global trade by simplifying the logistics process for businesses.
