Job Summary
The Logistics Agent plays a key role in the growth and daily operations of Cornerstone Trucking, LLC. You will generate new business opportunities, negotiate rates, and manage shipment logistics while ensuring exceptional service and smooth communication among customers, carriers, dispatch, and drivers. Success in this role requires persistence, attention to detail, and a goal-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect and secure new freight customers through cold calling, networking, and relationship building
  • Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers to ensure profitability
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with customers, dispatch, and drivers
  • Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers throughout the delivery process
