Job description

You will be the Traffic Administrator (Level 2) for the Traffic team. Our team is responsible for supporting Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) production and sustainment through efficient traffic operations.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Traffic Administrator (Level 2) you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing carrier routes, shipping documentation, and freight billing processes that enable timely delivery of military and commercial cargo.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Facilitate carrier routes for shipping and receiving activities supporting both military and commercial requirements.

  • Coordinate outbound shipping documentation and schedules across all transportation modes (small package, LTL, FTL, flatbed/specialized, rail).

  • Interface with freight carriers, forwarders, and external organizations to ensure compliance with regulations and contract terms.

  • Audit freight bills, prepare and negotiate freight claims, and drive costadvantageous shipping decisions.

  • Learn and communicate new processes such as DD250, WAWF, SIR, and TMS to the Traffic organization.
