Job description

CommerceHub is a fast-growing, cloud-based e-commerce company. We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to apply enterprise architecture principles and practices to assist us in development, execution, and maturation of our business strategies. As enterprise architecture is a relatively new area for us, you'll have the opportunity to help influence and shape the direction of its practice at CommerceHub, evangelizing for its use, and suggesting the areas of most value for prioritization.
About CommerceHub Architecture
The architecture group at CommerceHub is a small team with big impact. Each member of the team has extensive software engineering experience, possesses strong systematic insight, and has earned the respect of their peers as technical leaders. We have large challenges ahead of us, but also a steady string of successes to power our journey forward.
Job Responsibilities
  • Continuation of development of an enterprise model to define and associate enterprise assets and processes
  • Definition and scoping of corporate capabilities and high-level end-to-end processes
  • Identification of opportunities to reduce cost and increase efficiency in IT, Engineering, and Business
  • Development and evangelization of structured processes and architectural goals and patterns

Minimum qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect
  • Experience in software architecture (generally as a Solution/Application/Software Architect)
  • Experience in analyzing and addressing organizational gaps (between departments/domains/functions/etc.)

Required traits
  • Excellent communication skills with a wide variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical, individual contributor through C-level
  • Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to take on a leadership role in development of enterprise architecture and processes
  • Ability to identify and address gaps in enterprise-level strategies, goals, and processes
    Authorization to work in the United States is a requirement for this role. CommerceHub will not provide visa sponsorship.
