We are seeking a Freelance Senior Designer with a strong emphasis on UI to support one of the most widely recognized names in connectivity and technology, a brand that is woven into the daily lives of millions of people across the country. This is an opportunity to contribute to digital product experiences that reach an enormous audience, working within a collaborative and fast-moving team environment. This is a hybrid freelance role from June 22 through December 23, 2026.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 to 6 years of experience, with an agency setting preferred
  • Bring a strong UI sensibility and visual design craft to digital product work, with complementary UX capabilities that inform and elevate your output
  • Implement a combination of strategic, conceptual, and design skills across a variety of deliverable types
  • Create and manage original, visually compelling work that is both on-brand and purposeful
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining visual design systems, with experience creating and deploying tokenized components for scalable design
  • Adept at utilizing AI tools to inform and streamline the design process, from research to prototyping
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and various teams within AKQA, contributing to a culture of openness and continuous improvement

  • A compelling portfolio of work with clear evidence of strong UI craft across digital products and services
  • A drive to break boundaries and craft the best ideas of their kind

  • Excellent knowledge of Figma, including working with design systems, setting up variables and libraries
  • Strong proficiency with leading industry-standard UX design and prototyping tools
