Job description

We've partnered with a growing manufacturing company to add an Accounts Payable specialist on a 6-month contract.
  • Payrate $18-$24/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Accounts Payable Supervisor in managing the weekly vendor payment process
  • Partner with procurement teams and vendors to address AP-related questions, investigate invoice discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently
  • Handle the full accounts payable cycle, including three-way matching and entering invoices into systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
  • Review and match purchase orders with corresponding invoices for accuracy
  • Maintain organized records and filing systems for financial and corporate documents
  • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Oversee company purchasing activities and manage travel & expense processes through the Navan platform
  • Assist the Finance and Accounting team with reporting, audits, and other ad hoc projects
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Requried Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience
  • At least 1 year of accounts payable experience in a high-volume setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online)
  • Experience with Navan (travel, expense, and corporate card platform) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
