Location - Ft. Meade, MD - Onsite

Clearance Level - Secret

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience;additionalyears of experiencemay be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have an active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE), prior to start.

Technical Experience

  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience using SharePoint.
  • Experience with SolarWinds.
  • Experience with technical writing and reporting.
  • Experience creating/running ServiceNow ITSM reports.
  • Knowledge of ITIL V3/V4.
  • Experience usingVsphere.
  • ExperiencebriefingSenior Leaders.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of DoD Enterprise IT policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage integration ofthe networksystem management tools.
  • Manage Network ManagementSystemsmonitoringand reporting.
  • Interface between the customer and DISA management and provide input into the Managementactivities.
  • Perform network monitoring technical support and analysis for network systems and components, LAN/WAN communications, and transmission systems,including WirelessLAN infrastructure.
  • Perform critical/emergency systems administration tasks affecting the production environment.
  • Ensure that personnel receive adequate guidance and direction for performing their daily tasks and will be accountable for developing/presenting briefings,preparing correspondence, and preparing project status reports asrequired.
  • Communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a professional business-like manner.
  • Maintain the availability of environments for projects and followsapplication deployment/configuration plans.
  • Implement reporting and dashboards based onmonitorednetwork services.
  • Utilizereporting tools to generate ad-hoc and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Onboarding / off boarding network and other assets tomaintaincurrentand up to date monitoring infrastructure.
  • Create twicedaily status reports and outage reports.
  • Documentsignificant eventswithin the Master Station Log (MSL).
  • Create incident tickets and escalate to theappropriate teamswithin the approved timeframefor network outages.
  • Track the status of network outages and VIPtickets;including higher level outages.
  • This is on-site support and will have to occasionally work on weekends, as needed.
