What you'll cook up in your first year
  • You'll build a repeatable, fast-moving content engine that resonates with our audiences and builds our brand on social.
  • You'll create a signature social franchise, format, or cultural moment that becomes a defining example of what's possible for Instacart. This becomes something people across the company reference when they talk about great social.
  • You'll expand our creative capacity by cultivating a strong network of freelance creators, production partners, and agencies, making it possible to produce more great work at scale.
  • You'll build the muscle for reactive content that's timely, on-brand, and worth watching. As a result, Instacart becomes a brand that consistently shows in culture at moments that are most important to our audience.
The secret ingredients we're looking for

Must-have pantry staples (Minimum Qualifications)

  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates your understanding of what great platform-native Hands-on editing skills in CapCut and native platform tools; you can take a piece from concept to publish without a production team,
  • Fast. You can turn around reactive content in hours when a moment calls for it, and the quality doesn't slip.
  • Strong visual and creative judgment - you know when something should feel lo-fi, editorial, or designed, and you make that call confidently.
  • Immersed in pop & food culture and a strong instinct for when our brand should join a cultural conversation or moment.

Optional garnishes (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working directly with creators and influencers, from brief to final post
  • Familiarity with how SEO applies to social content and discoverability
  • Some exposure to gifting or PR-driven creator amplification campaigns
