Job description

The Fitness Business Consultant (FBC) supports Master Franchise and Direct Franchise partners across Latin America and the U.S. by providing operational guidance, financial coaching, and training to drive performance while ensuring alignment with Gold's Gym global standards. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus!) to effectively collaborate across diverse markets in the region. The FBC conducts regular market visits, virtual consultations, and leads both in-person and online training sessions. This role is remote based out of the U.S. with frequent travel throughout Latin America & US based locations-up to 50% or more-is required.

Franchise Support & Coaching

Serve as the primary operational liaison for Master Franchise and Direct Franchise owners, offering consultative support on day-to-day operations, financial performance, leadership development, and member experience.

Build strong, collaborative relationships across culturally and linguistically diverse markets, ensuring business strategies align with Gold's Gym standards while adapting to local market needs.

Conduct regular check-ins and annual in-person site visits with each franchise location in the assigned LATAM and U.S. territories.

Provide guidance and resources to drive operational excellence and regional growth.

Leverage KPI benchmarks, and digital platforms to monitor and support franchise performance.

Training & Leadership Development

Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions in Spanish and English for franchisees and their teams, focusing on operational efficiency, member experience, and profitability.

Facilitate webinars, learning sessions, and peer collaboration forums to promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing in the LATAM and assigned U.S. market.

Lead onboarding programs for new franchisees and gym leaders, providing a strong foundation in Gold's Gym systems, standards, and growth strategies.

Champion the rollout of corporate initiatives, tools, and new programs, ensuring cultural adaptation and consistent adoption across locations.

Operational Evaluations & Brand Standards

Perform standardized gym evaluations, operational audits, and brand assessments.

Ensure all LATAM and U.S. based locations remain compliant with system standards, brand guidelines, and operational policies.

Strategic Business & Financial Planning

Review and interpret financial reports (P&Ls, balance sheets, KPIs) to identify trends and coach franchisees on strategies for profitability and operational improvement.

Assist with strategic planning, forecasting, and staff planning tailored to the LATAM & U.S. based regions.

Market Insights & System Collaboration

Conduct annual market reviews and monitor competitive activity in each territory.

Share benchmarking data, performance insights, and market intelligence with both franchisees and internal teams.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, technology, and development teams to align LATAM & U.S. field strategies with broader corporate objectives.
