Job Summary

The Franchise Business Coach is responsible for supporting and coaching Snap Fitness franchisees to ensure consistent operational excellence and alignment with company goals. This role is vital in guiding franchise owners through both pre-opening and ongoing operations, helping them improve membership sales, financial performance, operational efficiency, and member experience.


The position requires a deep understanding of Snap Fitness systems, platforms, and operational standards, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with franchisees to help grow their businesses, develop their teams, and foster a strong club culture.


Key Responsibilities

Franchise Support & Coaching

  • Determine pre-opening and ongoing operational needs for each franchisee and provide related training, follow-up, and general assistance.
  • Deliver consistent coaching aligned with Snap Fitness operational standards, brand values, and business goals.
  • Provide strategic and tactical support to franchisees to help them grow financially and build a positive internal culture.
  • Share personal training and staffing best practices to enhance member experience and improve club performance.


Operational Training & System Knowledge

  • Develop deep familiarity with Snap Fitness operations, systems, and platforms, including club management systems and digital tools used within clubs.
  • Guide franchisees on how to best utilize these platforms for efficiency, engagement, and growth.
  • Train new franchisees during the pre-opening process and support ongoing operations with regular touchpoints.


Performance Analysis & Strategic Insight

  • Understand and analyze KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to identify trends, uncover root causes of poor performance, and recommend solutions.
  • Stay current on industry and business trends to continuously provide forward-thinking guidance.
  • Conduct research on regional competitor landscapes to support strategic positioning and club success.


Franchisee Communication & Engagement

  • Execute effective communication initiatives including online meetings, written reports, newsletters, and verbal updates to maintain alignment and engagement across the franchise community.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with franchisees while holding them accountable to brand standards.


Field Coaching & Brand Compliance

  • Complete regularly scheduled in-person visits to clubs in your assigned district to deliver live coaching, operational feedback, and brand updates.
  • Ensure compliance with Snap Fitness brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Document all coaching sessions and club visits within FranConnect to maintain clear records of performance, compliance, and support provided.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the success of the broader business objectives.
Requirements:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Business or a related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of proven accomplishments within the franchise industry or fitness arena
  • Experience with multi-unit leadership is desired
  • Must be able to speak passionately and knowledgeably about the Snap Fitness brand and business
  • Must demonstrate discipline, professionalism, and a competitive spirit
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time
