About this Position

This position will assist the Executive Director of Player Personnel with daily management of all service and support functions for Oklahoma State University Football Recruiting. Manager will create and monitor a data base of Prospective Student Athletes who have triggered recruited status as it relates to the NCAA's IAWP and IAWRP rules. Position will assist with all home games. Responsible for developing relationships with prospective student athletes and their families while they are on campus that will aid in the overall recruiting success of the football program. Position will manage all aspects of campus visits, both unofficial and official visits, as well as manage travel activities for official visits and assist with the coordination of game day visits. Position will conduct campus tours, coordinate and arrange academic visits with Academic staff and coordinate with on-campus OSU Admissions Officers. Position will complete, file and report all information related to official and unofficial recruiting visits to OSU Compliance office. Work schedule varies based on the needs of football recruiting and meeting with football staff. Recruiting activities often occur or continue after 5:00 pm and on weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Business/Communication/PR or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Three years of football recruiting, office/administrative, or related experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Must possess Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skill Be familiarized and compliant with NCAA and Big XII rules. Ability to communicate and organize schedules. Ability to stay up to date with recruiting current events and keep coaches informed. Understand computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

  • Master's

    Business/Communication/PR

  • NCAA Division I A recruiting experience Knowledge of 24/7, Rivals, Scout, and Hudl Recruiting Services preferred.
