Position Overview:

The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring efficient and safe machine operation, producing high quality product and finish product packaging, inspecting equipment, and performing preventative maintenance; completing paperwork and data entry; assisting in packaging area and cross-training on other machine operation duties keeping production area clean and orderly. This individual will be regularly communicating with other operators, quality techs, and the area supervisor to ensure the process runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Operating state of the art equipment that processes and packages beverages in both cans and bottles.

Works with others to produce quality products that meet our customer's needs.

Troubleshooting equipment and working with others to come up with ways to drive inefficiencies out of the manufacturing process.

Changing over and adjusting equipment between production runs.

Responsible to accurately create and consume inventory in an inventory management system

Operating a forklift or pallet jack to move pallets of raw material.

Sanitation of the plant and equipment.

Assisting with performing quality checks on the products.

Keep area clean and organized.

Attend production meetings.

Complete necessary paperwork.

Troubleshoot and communicate issues that occur with the process or equipment.

Utilize computer skills to work in the ERP system and other necessary programs.

Assist in other parts of the facility as needed.

Qualifications:

Self-directed and personally motivated.

The ability to read, write, speak and understand English is required.

Attention to detail.

Able to be adaptable and work in a fast-paced environment while focusing on meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Good team player able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.

Good attendance and performance track record.

Able to effectively time manage and prioritize job functions.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

3+ years food production and/or machine operating experience

Good knowledge of and/or passion for learning about coffee manufacturing

Strong general mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of food safety and food quality standards

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel

High School diploma or GED preferred. Post-secondary education is a plus.

Hours, Location and Pay:

We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. Open positions work a straight 2-2-3 schedule either 5:45a-6:00p or 5:45p-6:00am and M-Th 5:45am-4pm at our Neenah manufacturing facility.

Physical and Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
