This role reports into our KitPackers ResinLab (KPRL) Division located in Germantown, WI.

You will safely operate, sets-up, and maintainadvanced packaging and blending equipment. This role ensures compliance with production orders,customer specifications,and quality standards while proactively supporting continuous improvement, training, and troubleshooting efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates, sets up, adjusts, disassembles, and cleans advanced blending and packaging machinery to meet specific product and customer requirements.
  • Measures, mixes, and dispenses adhesive products by hand or using equipment, following strict safety, quality, and procedural guidelines.
  • Performs and audits material checks, in-process inspections, post-packaging evaluations, and clean checks to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.
  • Troubleshoots product and equipment issues, makes formula or process adjustments, and collaborates with Leads on complex equipment or material challenges.
  • Develops and updates Work Instructions and Bills of Material, trains and mentors other packaging team members on technical procedures and quality expectations.
  • Acts as a technical resource for resolving packaging and blending issues, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives such as LEAN, One-Piece Flow, Single Minute Exchange of Die, and 5S activities to optimize safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Quality Assurance and Engineering on new product introductions, training sessions, and first-article builds.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1+ years of production experience, preferably with adhesive blending and packaging equipment/operations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions
  • Knowledge of Basic Math. Ability to work with formulas, ratios and fractions is preferred
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to operate and provide basic maintenance to machinery
  • Follows and understands established operating and quality processes
  • Ability to follow and develop special Bill of Material and Work Instructions
  • Able to operate under minimal supervision
  • Able to coach and train staff on the technical aspects of the Production Lab
  • Ability to navigate potential technical production issues and follow through with resolutions
  • Ability to follow safety standards and protocols
  • Collaborates with Leads on troubleshooting complex equipment or material issues as needed
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
