Position Summary


Sweet Additions is a leading supplier of natural and organic ingredients serving the food and beverage, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical industries. We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Marketing Manager to lead all aspects of marketing, including brand management, creative development, sales enablement, digital marketing, website management, CRM, content creation, trade shows, and market intelligence.


The Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Operations, and external partners to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that enhance customer engagement, support business development efforts, and drive profitable growth. This individual will develop a deep understanding of our ingredients, customers, competitors, consumers, and market trends, translating insights into actionable strategies and measurable commercial results.


Key Responsibilities


Market Intelligence & Insights

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of target markets, customers, consumers, and competitors through primary and secondary research, industry data, customer interactions, and participation in trade shows and industry events.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, emerging technologies, consumer preferences, and competitive activity.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights and communicate recommendations through reports, presentations, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on category, customer, and market trends.

Strategic Marketing & Growth

  • Identify new market opportunities and applications for existing and emerging ingredient solutions.
  • Partner with Sales and R&D teams to support innovation initiatives and new product development efforts.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies encompassing product positioning, value proposition development, promotion, and channel expansion.
  • Support the evaluation of potential inorganic growth opportunities through market analysis and trend assessment.
  • Create compelling positioning and messaging strategies that differentiate Sweet Additions in the marketplace.

Customer & Commercial Support

  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team to understand customer needs and provide market-driven recommendations.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies that leverage customer insights and market opportunities.
  • Support key customer engagements by providing category expertise and strategic market perspectives.
  • Create sales enablement tools, presentations, and customer-facing materials that strengthen business development efforts.

Brand Management & Marketing Communications

  • Lead Sweet Additions' participation in trade shows and industry events, including booth design, messaging, logistics, and promotional activities.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to develop advertising, public relations, email marketing, digital campaigns, and other communications programs.
  • Drive initiatives that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Design and produce branded sales and marketing collateral, including sell sheets, capability presentations, customer decks, one-pagers, trade show graphics, website assets, email campaigns, and sample materials.

Digital Marketing, Website, CRM & Content

  • Oversee website management and optimization, including SEO strategy, content development, user experience, and performance measurement.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across website, blog, email, social media, and video channels, tracking performance against brand awareness and lead generation objectives.
  • Create and coordinate digital content, including blog posts, ingredient stories, application spotlights, press releases, and thought leadership materials.
  • Manage CRM and marketing automation processes, including lead capture, web form routing, data quality, campaign tracking, lead assignment, pipeline visibility, and reporting.
Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Food Science, Communications, or a related field required.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience within the food ingredients, food technology, specialty ingredients, nutraceutical, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive business growth.
  • Strong experience in market research and analytics, including familiarity with industry resources such as Mintel, Circana (IRI), Innova Market Insights, or similar databases.
  • Experience managing marketing communications, website development, SEO initiatives, and external marketing agencies and vendors.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and digital marketing platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Webflow, and WordPress.
  • Proven ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and solve business challenges.
  • Experience supporting new product development and commercialization efforts is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with design and creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms, with the ability to create polished sales collateral, presentations, digital assets, and customer-facing marketing materials.
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, website analytics, and digital marketing technologies.

Work Environment & Travel


This position is based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Occasional travel is required for trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, vendor meetings, and visits to manufacturing facilities.
