Job description

Under direct supervision, according to defined procedures and established schedules, performs a variety of kitchen, cafeteria, sanitation, and tray line activities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assembles trays, serves and delivers food; dispenses beverages and necessary condiments per departmental standards and regulatory agency requirements. Prepares salads, sandwiches, cold plates and other items that require limited food preparation skills.

Sets up, stocks, and rotates supplies for patient tray line.
Maintains clean and sanitary environment in kitchen per departmental, GBMC, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and standards.
Adheres to GBMC and departmental policies for proper hygiene and dress code.
Performs other tasks designated by Management team.
