AM Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
PM Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Location: Reserve Plant
Reports To: Shift Supervisor
Pay Range: $10.50 - $15.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Production Line Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of packaging and production equipment to produce high-quality food products. This role supports daily production goals while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and food safety standards. Production Line Operators are expected to take ownership of their assigned equipment and work area, follow established procedures, and actively contribute to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor manual and powered production and packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Load and feed packaging materials and other supplies into machines safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor machine functions, product flow, and quality indicators, responding promptly to issues or deviations.
  • Perform routine equipment adjustments and report mechanical concerns to supervision or maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure products meet established quality and food safety standards throughout the production process.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas, equipment, and tools in accordance with GMP and food safety requirements.
  • Accurately complete required production documentation as assigned.
  • Actively follow and support all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and maintaining situational awareness around machinery, steam, water, moving parts, and forklifts.
  • Wear required hearing protection at all times while in production areas (ear plugs provided by the company).
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and work conditions to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Required Skills and Abilities
  • Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 55 pounds.
  • Work environment may include exposure to steam, water, moving machinery, mechanical parts, and forklifts.
