Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced and passionate Folding Gluer Operator in the Folding/Gluing Department. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of glue-line assembly. The person will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring, and operating a folding machine to fold and glue printed materials, according to the specifications. The Operator will focus on continuously checking for accuracy and quality, monitor the machine, and correct problems. The person will control the inventory, verify the schedule. and guarantee post-production equipment cleaning.

About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Folding Gluer Operator, you will:
  • Sets up feeder, glue system, folder plates, pack station, and inspection systems.
  • Adjusts and operates folding machine, verifying number of folds, paper size, and thickness.
  • Sets up and operates automated, computer-controlled integrated inspection system.
  • Ensures total quality of the job while in operation.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.

About You:
You're a fit for the role of Folding Gluer Operator if your background includes:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the printing or packaging industry as a Folding Gluing Operator is preferred.
  • Mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Keen attention to detail with excellent close vision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a people-oriented approach.
