About The Opportunity

The Specialty Gluer (Bobst Domino Operator) is responsible for machine setup tasks, pre-breaking corrugated sheets, loading stacks into the feeder and general machine adjustments such as fine tuning the machine for proper fold and bond. The main result is to make folded and joined cartons ready to be bundled or master boxed.

Essential functions:

  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
  • Program or call up order on computer and fine tune automated set up
  • Feed die cut carton blanks, bring up stock and keep machine running (feeder full)
  • Check quality of product, and for correct register
  • Monitor incoming stock and product after being folded and glued to ensure it meets and maintains Menasha's and our customer's quality standards
  • Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
  • Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of the machine as necessary
  • Direct crew members
  • Stack down die cut blanks from 72" inches high
  • Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
