What is a flexible remote real estate job?

A Flexible Remote Real Estate job refers to roles within the real estate industry that allow professionals to work remotely, often with flexible hours and locations. These jobs can include positions such as real estate agents, virtual assistants, transaction coordinators, and marketing specialists who perform their duties online rather than from a traditional office. The flexibility allows employees to manage their schedules and work from anywhere, leveraging digital tools to connect with clients, manage listings, and complete transactions. This setup is especially popular among those seeking work-life balance or who need to accommodate other commitments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a flexible remote real estate agent?

To thrive as a Flexible Remote Real Estate Agent, you need a real estate license, strong knowledge of property markets, and effective negotiation skills. Familiarity with CRM software, virtual tour platforms, and digital marketing tools is typically required. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and time management are crucial soft skills for succeeding in a remote and client-facing environment. These capabilities are essential for building trust, efficiently managing transactions, and closing deals in a competitive and flexible remote setting.

How does collaboration typically work for professionals in flexible remote real estate roles?

In flexible remote real estate roles, collaboration is often managed through digital communication tools like video conferencing, instant messaging, and project management platforms. Team members, such as agents, brokers, marketing specialists, and administrative staff, coordinate virtually to share client information, discuss property listings, and handle transactions. While much of the work can be done independently, regular check-ins and virtual meetings are important to maintain alignment and ensure smooth workflow. Success in this environment relies on strong communication skills and proactive engagement to stay connected with both clients and colleagues.

Job description

We're working with a highly respected regional law firm seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience. The firm has a strong presence across the Southeast, with a flexible remote option for attorneys based in the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones, allowing attorneys to work from outside its traditional office locations.
This is a great opportunity for an attorney who wants sophisticated real estate work without the BigLaw lifestyle. The firm represents developers, investors, lenders, and business clients throughout the Southeast on complex acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, financing, and other commercial real estate matters.
Why this opportunity stands out:
  • 1,850 billable hour target and a genuine commitment to work/life balance
  • Flexible remote option available, including the ability to work outside the firm's traditional office locations
  • Exceptionally collegial, kind, and collaborative culture
  • Long-tenured attorneys and a strong sense of community
  • Sophisticated clients and high-quality transactional work
  • Meaningful client contact and hands-on responsibility
  • Very clear path to partnership with a long-term goal of developing attorneys into partners

What You'll Do
  • Handle commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing
  • Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and related agreements
  • Work directly with clients and take an active role in managing transactions and relationships
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys across real estate, corporate, banking, and tax

What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of commercial real estate experience; candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing client relationships and transactions
  • Practical, business-minded approach
  • Interest in building a long-term practice with a firm that genuinely invests in its attorneys

If you're looking for sophisticated real estate work, a supportive environment, strong work/life balance, remote flexibility, and a clear path to partnership, please message us!
