What is a flexible remote real estate job?

A Flexible Remote Real Estate job refers to roles within the real estate industry that allow professionals to work remotely, often with flexible hours and locations. These jobs can include positions such as real estate agents, virtual assistants, transaction coordinators, and marketing specialists who perform their duties online rather than from a traditional office. The flexibility allows employees to manage their schedules and work from anywhere, leveraging digital tools to connect with clients, manage listings, and complete transactions. This setup is especially popular among those seeking work-life balance or who need to accommodate other commitments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a flexible remote real estate agent?

To thrive as a Flexible Remote Real Estate Agent, you need a real estate license, strong knowledge of property markets, and effective negotiation skills. Familiarity with CRM software, virtual tour platforms, and digital marketing tools is typically required. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and time management are crucial soft skills for succeeding in a remote and client-facing environment. These capabilities are essential for building trust, efficiently managing transactions, and closing deals in a competitive and flexible remote setting.

How does collaboration typically work for professionals in flexible remote real estate roles?

In flexible remote real estate roles, collaboration is often managed through digital communication tools like video conferencing, instant messaging, and project management platforms. Team members, such as agents, brokers, marketing specialists, and administrative staff, coordinate virtually to share client information, discuss property listings, and handle transactions. While much of the work can be done independently, regular check-ins and virtual meetings are important to maintain alignment and ensure smooth workflow. Success in this environment relies on strong communication skills and proactive engagement to stay connected with both clients and colleagues.

Job description

Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in real estate brokerage, deal negotiation, and contract management, particularly at the level expected for licensed brokers or brokerage managers overseeing property sales and agent teams.

Role overview:
  • In this role, you will work on projects to help evaluate and improve AI using your industry knowledge and communication expertise.
  • No prior AI experience is required — for example, you may evaluate how well an AI system interprets contracts, manages negotiations, or advises clients through closing.
  • These projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to advance your field, strengthen client interactions, and optimize brokerage operations.

What does day-to-day look like:
  • Design and solve real-world brokerage and transaction scenarios to test AI reasoning.
  • Write clear, structured explanations covering deal structuring, negotiation strategies, and contract compliance.
  • Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, professionalism, and clarity.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to refine model understanding of brokerage management and client communication.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Real Estate Broker or Brokerage Manager.
  • Active broker license required.
  • Experience in U.S. real estate markets preferred.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using web-based tools for annotation and feedback.

Perks of freelancing with Turing & offer details:
  • Strong compensation (exact amount varies by project).
  • Work in a fully remote environment.
  • Engagement type: Contractor assignment/freelancer, potentially full-time.
  • Duration of projects: approximately 1 month (with possibility for extension).

What Turing is NOT seeking from your expertise:
  • Confidential or proprietary information from any employer, university, etc.
  • Trade secrets or internal company or university data.
  • Specific client information or case details.
  • Any information that would violate NDAs, employment agreements or other confidentiality obligations.
