C-P Flexible Packaging is looking for Industrial Maintenance Technicians

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full-Time with benefits
Shift: 3rd, Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
Compensation: $33-36+ in line with experience

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Machine repair and preventative maintenance
  • Completion of PM requirements on motors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment
  • Installation assistance on capital projects
  • Modification and installation of equipment or process improvements
  • Installation and startup of equipment
  • Facilities maintenance, e.g., building modifications, etc.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns
  • Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels
  • Must be able to work independently and adhere to established safety standards.
  • Interpret work instructions, work orders, read tape measure (standard and metric) and read other operational materials
  • Complete work order entry and close-out in the Maintenance work order system.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting required, and familiar with at least two or more of the following: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic
  • Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and evaluating PLC's and drives is a must
  • Have tools/ well-stocked toolbox
  • Experience in industrial electrical panels, electrical machinery, and motor controls
  • Read/analyze/interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals to perform required maintenance and service
  • Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and proactively take appropriate corrective action to prevent component failures, or equipment downtime.
  • Excellent oral and computer communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to define and solve problems
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting of up to 80 lbs.
  • Required to work at heights using ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces for short periods of time during equipment inspections and modifications.
  • Use of hand tools to repair machinery, grasping
