Job description

Our Line Cooks are responsible for preparing food items according to specified recipes.  Our ideal line cook will be able to prepare food items, maintain and clean the work station, stock and properly store all food items to meet sanitation standards. Our line cooks must be detailed oriented; work well in a team environment and enjoy serving customers in a positive, friendly and courteous manner. If you are passionate about providing exceptional service and hospitality, then we want to hear from you!

Line Cook Requirements:
  • Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment
  • Follow plate specs and recipes to prepare soups, meats, seafood, sauces, vegetables, desserts, and other food products
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
  • Maintain spotlessly clean and sanitized restaurant and safe work environment.
  • Label and date all food stored & Rotate food as needed
  • Follow approved preparation procedures and presentation standards
  • Constantly inspects all food service sections during service time to ensure that the correct standards are maintained
  • Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering to all State, federal and OSHA regulations
Line Cook Qualifications:
  • Previous line cook experience is ideal
  • Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • Able to prepare food according to food handlers guidelines
