We are seeking associates (Rechtsanwälte) (m/f/d) to join our M&A and Corporate practices’ Korea team at our offices across Germany.

Your role

Your future role will include providing comprehensive advice to our Asian clients, particularly from Korea, on M&A transactions and corporate law as well as assisting German companies with their activities in Asia. Gleiss Lutz has advised on a large number of transactions involving Korean parties in recent years and has established a strong reputation as a leading law firm for Korean investors in Germany.

  • Doosan Bobcat, Inc. on its proposed public acquisition of Wacker Neuson SE
  • DN Solutionson its acquisition of the Heller Group
  • Shinhan Asset Management on the potential enforcement of a pledge over sharesin Accentro and potential takeover offer to Accentro shareholders
  • Hansol Paper and Mirae Asset Daewoo Private Equity on the sale of R+S and Schades
  • NICE Holdings on the sale of its majority shareholding in BBS GmbH
Your profile
  • State examinations with grades of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
  • Ideally, relevant experience in M&A and Corporate
  • Business-fluent English, preferably acquired abroad
  • Additional qualifications such as an LL.M. or doctorate welcome
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach, a focus on solutions, dedication, team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility
