Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business development

  • Develop new business opportunities across all sales channels.
  • Stakeholder engagement with trade partners and tourism boards.
  • Engage in negotiation with clients.
  • Accountable on achieving sales target in local market.
  • Develop and expand sales channels, including travel agents, OTAs, and corporate accounts
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to optimize sales strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Head Office commercial team to develop and execute sales plan.

2. Trade & Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, wholesalers, and key trade partners
  • Work closely with GSA to execute sales plans and maximize market coverage
  • Conduct regular sales visits, product training, and joint promotions with trade partners
  • Support trade marketing activities to stimulate demand in the local market

3. Sales Operations & Customer Handling

  • Manage distribution channels including PSS, GDA and API
  • Manage ticketing-related issues including schedule changes, cancellations, and refund processing
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with trade partners and customers
  • Support disruption management and minimize customer impact during irregular operations
  • Support trade marketing activities to stimulate demand in the local market

4. Regulatory & Government Liaison

  • Liaise with Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and relevant authorities on regulatory matters
  • Support the process of obtaining and maintaining AOC and other operational approvals
  • Ensure compliance with local aviation regulations and policies

The Ideal Candidate

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Aviation, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in travel industry, B2B Sales, preferably in airlines, travel agency, OTA or tourism boards.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Korean, both written and spoken.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Good understanding of airline distribution systems.
  • Analytical Ability: Proficiency in market analysis, sales forecasting, and data-driven decision making.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
