Job Description
Understand and develop Micrsoft.NET (vb.net and Asp.net) application code while working with Oracle 11g database as the application backend
This role will require the individual to analyze, understand and develop Micrsoft.NET (vb.net and Asp.net) application code while working with Oracle 11g database as the application backend. The individual will be responsible of working and coordinating with the offshore team during various phases of the software development life cycle. In addition, the individual will also be a part of maintenance activities (data-fixes/defect-fixes) for releases deployed to the production environment.
Essential Functions:
o Translate business requirements and enhancements to system-level technical modifications.
o Develop and modify application components using Asp.Net and VB.Net technologies
o Develop and modify database components (pl/sql code) for Oracle 11G database.
o Develop and modify SQL Server 2008 Reports.
o Develop and modify SQL Server 2008 SSIS packages.
o Coordinate with onsite/offshore team to provide timely status updates.
o Perform other job related duties as assigned or requested
