Job description

A warm family in North Williamsburg, Brooklyn is seeking a Part-Time Japanese-Speaking Nanny to care for their young son, who was born in June. The family is looking for someone to begin the role in September and is flexible on the exact daily schedule. The anticipated schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 4–5 hours per day. 

The nanny’s primary responsibility will be providing attentive, engaging care for their son. The family would love someone who can take him to the park and other neighborhood activities while naturally speaking Japanese with him throughout the day. The nanny must also speak English so that they can communicate easily with the mother. The family is specifically seeking a native Japanese speaker. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being active and engaged with a young child and is looking for a consistent part-time position. No travel is required.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 4–5 hours per day; exact timing is flexible.


  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for one young child
  • Engage in age-appropriate play and activities
