Gray AES is looking to add a Sr. Process Engineer- Japanese Speaking to our Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Fullerton, CA and Lexington, KY Office.

Who we want… (Requirements)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on process systems.
• Experience: Significant experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines, with a proven ability to lead projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and customers.
• Licenses: Professional Engineer (PE) license is expected.
• Travel Requirements: Travel required for site audits, installations, and customer meetings, varying based on project needs.
• Physical Demands: Regular use of hands, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Exposure to variable conditions during site visits.


What we expect… (Essential Functions)
• Technical Leadership: Act as the technical lead on projects, applying advanced engineering concepts to develop process systems for food and beverage applications.
• Project Execution: Execute the full scope of project work, including design, budgeting, implementation, procurement, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of processing systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met. Lead discussions and planning sessions with stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance engineering quality and project deliverables. Lead knowledge-sharing groups and best practice initiatives.
• Commissioning and Support: Take a lead role in on-site support and commissioning activities, including planning and facilitating complex commissioning processes.
• Business Development: Contribute to business development by providing technical input during sales calls, customer meetings, and proposal development.
• Documentation & Reporting: Develop detailed technical documentation, including equipment lists, flow diagrams, process narratives, and project reports.

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required.
