Flex Tech is seeking Licensed Fire Alarm Technicians to support commercial new construction and retrofit projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX area. Our clients rely on us to deliver skilled, reliable technicians who consistently exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm cabling and systems in commercial environments
  • Perform device terminations including:
    • Horns and strobes
    • Pull stations
    • Smoke detectors
    • Duct detectors
  • Assist with fire alarm system testing, inspections, and service work as needed
  • Follow testing procedures and applicable fire and building codes
  • Maintain a safety-conscious, professional jobsite
  • Work independently or as part of a project team

Required Qualifications

  • Current Texas Fire Alarm License (must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks)
  • Minimum of 3 years of fire alarm installation and cabling experience
  • Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as required
  • Ability to work in tight or confined spaces
  • Physically capable of carrying heavy materials and climbing ladders
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel to multiple jobsites within the DFW metro area
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial fire alarm experience
  • Experience with fire alarm inspections, testing, or service work
  • Willingness to travel outside the Houston market (not required)
