What You'll Do
  • Provide counseling on prescriptions, relay pertinent information for customers to be confidence with at-home use of medication
  • Accurately perform all necessary steps of workflow and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
  • Continuously strive for efficiency and seek improvement opportunities
  • Identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
  • Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business
  • Keep current on company wellness initiatives and ensure consistency and execution

Requirements
  • Pharmacist State License (may require licensing in multiple states)
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
  • Certified Pharmacist Immunizer
  • AED, CPR certified
  • Computer skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified in a disease state
