The Fleet Service Coordinator holds a crucial position in maintaining the operational efficiency of our equipment. Tasked with supporting a national fleet, our team swiftly addresses repair requirements to minimize downtime for our customers. From tire replacements to engine upgrades, our Field Service team expertly handles all aspects of maintenance.

LOCATION

HOURS OF OPERATION

  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST + On call hours

COMPENSATION

  • This position offers a competitive compensation package, benchmarked to regional market standards. It consists of a base salary plus the opportunity for quarterly profit sharing after one year of employment

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Field customer inquiries concerning equipment repairs, encompassing tire, brake, and general maintenance needs, among others. 
  • Coordinate all repair operations within the assigned region, ensuring seamless customer support. 
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by facilitating communication between various stakeholders, including customers, sales, parts, and logistics teams, as well as mobile mechanics, tow companies, and OEM dealerships. 
  • Maintain accurate records of repair progress using our Field Service App and provide daily updates on open tickets. 
  • Ensure timely communication of updates to internal and external customers as required.
  • Effectively manage repair and towing services, leveraging national accounts and pricing structures to minimize customer downtime. 
  • Exercise prudent financial judgment when approving repairs, seeking out-of-warranty assistance from OEM representatives when necessary.
  • Collaborate with OEM representatives to address parts delays and escalate common OEM issues to your manager and appropriate OEM contacts.
  • Complete monthly credit card reporting and promptly notify your manager of any quality concerns. 
  • Report directly to the Fleet Service Supervisor.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE

  • 4 years of experience of demonstrated expertise in advanced automotive knowledge or customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in working efficiently in fast-paced environments.
  • The capability to effectively manage stressful situations.
  • Strong prioritization skills to handle urgent matters promptly.
  • Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Availability to handle occasional calls outside of regular business hours and on weekends, as necessary.
  • Responsible handling of company credit card transactions.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Familiarity with hydraulic/PTO systems.
  • Familiarity with Crane systems.
  • Vast understanding of tires and appropriate applications.
