Job description

Service Receptionist

The Service Receptionist supports the Fixed Operations team by assisting the business unit in administrative and analytical tasks and responsibilities. They provide the Fixed Ops team support in the areas of data monitoring, analysis, reporting of fixed operations activities, submitting wheel/tire claims, monitoring/disturbing calls and follow up with customers on advisor's out of office.

  • The Client Manhattan Service Receptionist must provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through consistently outstanding preparation, attitude, and teamwork.
  • Assist Service Management with reporting as necessary.
  • Perform outbound phone calls / texts / emails to customers to coordinate pickup or delivery of their completed vehicle while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Handling incoming call overflow, disturbing as necessary and setting expectations.
  • Analyzing and report daily repair order completion rates and repair order count.
  • Calculate service KPI's.
  • Submit Wheel and Tire claims and process payment.
  • Assist in improving customer experience by working with Service Management and Customer Relations Manager to resolve issues, perform follow up and optimize the effortless experience.
  • Assists with presentations and special projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties, based on management requirements and instructions.
  • Commute to and from MBM Manhattan location.
  • Monitor, distribute and follow up on DGA alerts.
  • Keeps a clean work area.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have 1 year of Automotive Customer Service experience.
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and holidays when required.
  • Must have superior communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Solutions and detail-oriented.
