Job description

Senior Fixed Income/Equity Sales Specialist
This role is designed for a driven hunter who thrives on opening doors, creating momentum, and winning new business by positioning Workspace as the essential command center for equity and fixed income professionals. You will work in close partnership with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to orchestrate account strategies, identify whitespace, displace legacy tools, and accelerate expansion across complex financial and corporate institutions. Together, you will turn strategic pursuits into durable, multi-product relationships that embed LSEG at the core of client workflows.
Essential Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Drive community adoption of the LSEG Workspace platform in the fixed income and equity segments of finance in the US & Canada - leading to sustained, consistent annual recurring revenue (ARR) to achieve annual sales target.
  • Proactively work to develop and execute sales strategies for accounts, collaborate with Account Management, Customer Success, and Business Managers to introduce new value-add workflow propositions including competitive displacement programs at new and existing accounts.
  • Target and drive large scale enterprise-wide renewals and new opportunities related to end-user workflow in new and existing customers.
  • Organize and lead client meetings to carry out product demonstrations and presentations with the objective of winning new business.
  • Execute sales campaigns to achieve increased product market penetration.
  • Collaborate with the equity and fixed income business managers and sales readiness teams to feed product ideas and provide client feedback.
  • Maintain accurate rolling sales forecast more than assigned monthly quota in Salesforce and build customer contact database.

Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry experience and associated number of years of experience:
  • Outstanding closing/sales and relationship management skills at all client levels
  • Strong, polished presentation skills
  • Articulate, enthusiastic, self-motivated and ability to prioritize.
  • Familiar with CRM software (ie Salesforce)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling financial Data Desktop solutions.
  • Prior Account Management/Sales experience working with Banks and Investment Managers.
  • Proven track record meeting sales quotas and pipeline management
  • Deep understanding of fixed income and equity markets
  • Superior communication and negotiating skills and be a strong team collaborator

Compensation/Benefits Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $143,200 - $238,800.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
