Job description

Role Summary

The T. Rowe Price Fixed Income Undergraduate Internship offers an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while building a foundation in credit research and investing. The internship runs from early October through March and is primarily virtual with three days in-person in our Baltimore offices over the course of the internship. This is internship is part-time (10 hours per week) and the position is paid

Responsibilities

Develop foundational skills for credit research, including:

  • Develop foundational skills for credit research, including:

    o Industry analysis

    o Financial analysis and key credit metrics

    o Three-statement financial modeling

    o Evaluating management and strategy

    o Relative value analysis

  • Spend time learning from our Analysts, Traders, and Portfolio Managers

  • Receive support and mentorship from our Fixed Income Associate Analyst team

  • Complete several group and independent projects, including a capstone credit pitch

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum sophomore status in college with a expected graduation of December 2026 or later.
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA or higher
  • Strong academic background and intellectual curiosity
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and with others
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Preferred:

  • Strong interest in the markets and investing preferred
  • Strong Interest in Credit

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
